Understanding Solar Panels and How It Works
Solar panels are the conversion of sunlight into electricity, either directly by using photovoltaic, or indirectly by using concentrated solar power to produce electricity for your home or for your company.
Solar panels As a more efficient and more affordable solar power system to take advantage of the economic and environmental benefits . Solar panels are not just only used in homes , solar panels are used in the Region and outlying areas the location of the school that lacked electricity , people and equipment telecommunications and water pumps .
To get the most out of your solar panel system , it’s worth spending some time researching the solar power system to make sure you make the best decision when purchasing a solar panel system.
Advantages of solar panels
- Environmentally friendly
- Easy installation
- Does not require fuel oil
- Durable
- Electrical power capacity can be added according to need
- The price of solar panels is cheap or affordable
How Solar Panels Work
Solar panels function to bypass the photoelectric effect where certain materials create electricity when the sun shines on them . The solar panels themselves consist of silicon crystals in which each half is doped into a different dopant to produce a semiconductor . When the sun appears on the surface, the solar panels provide the energy needed for the semiconductor to generate direct current ( DC ).
DC / AC Inverter : This is needed to convert DC power , generated by the solar panel circuit , to AC power so that it can be used for electrical appliances at home as well as used by the power grid .
AC Circuit : is the main circuit into the house . It is connected to the fuse box and then the energy is used to power the appliances in the household . This AC circuit also connects the electricity meter to the house . This allows the utility company to determine how much power it buys from that household and how much power it supplies to that household .…
